1See the real thing
A big, photo-real picture of the thing itself, the way your child will really meet it: on the tree, in the sea, on the road.
2Meet a friend
On the next page a friendly character says hello and shares one plain fact a small child can hold on to.
3Go and find it
Each book ends with a find-and-name page that sends you back through the book, and then off around the house.

A book about the screen, for the child who is not going to be argued out of it.
Eleven pairs. On one side, the thing that happens on a screen. On the other, the thing you could do instead: kick a ball, build a tower, fly a kite, help with the cooking. No lectures and no guilt, for them or for you. Written to be read at the moment you are about to ask for the tablet back.

A small family imprint
AHM Publications is a family-run picture book imprint in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our books are written by Anbu Priya and made by a small team at home.
We make the kind of book we wanted for our own family: short enough to finish, plain enough for a small child to lead, and always pointing back at the real world.
How we make the books
Made with new tools, chosen by people
The pictures in our books are created with AI image tools, and AI helps us draft some of the words. We choose every page, read and check every fact, and lay out every book ourselves.
We don't promise smarter children or brain boosts. We promise that naming things is how vocabulary grows, and that a book closed is a child back in the room.
